17 Weeks

Turned 17 weeks the day we left Jamaica!! I think I felt my lil man move this week!! It was the best feeling ever. My mom went with me to my doctor appointment on Thursday March 18. We got to hear his heart beat!! It was the best sound ever!! I picked out the bedding for his nursery. It is going to be monkeys and then paint it brown and blue with some strips. I am ordering it tonight. I have not gained that much weight just about 6 lbs, which I am glad about. Still jogging 2.5-3 miles a day, just depending on how I feel. I still have my belly buton ring in and plan on keeping for as long as I can. Here are the last few weeks of belly shots.

16 Weeks

I turned 16 weeks right before we left to go to Jamaica. Which was great and beautiful!! We laid out in the sun and just had a great time. Baby Canaan decided he wanted to poke out a little bit as soon as we got there!! Don't know why he couldn't just wait 1 more week. I guess he is stubborn like his mommy!! We laid out in the cabanas by the pool, which was my favorite! WE stayed at Sandals and I will definitely go back! I told Michael that I can't believe we only have 24 more weeks until we get to meet our little man!! I can't wait to hold him in my arms!! My mom and I have already bought so much for him and I ordered the furniture for him last night. I am going to order the bedding this weekend and then we will start painting the nursery!!

15 Weeks

Went to Baby Waves on March 5. We found out we are having a BOY!!!! His name is going to be Canaan Glen Smith. My parents went with us. It was so amazing seeing my little boy and knowing the sex. I can't wait to hold him in my arms!! At one time during the US he grabbed his little pee pee as the US tech called it. Michael said that's my boy. I guess they come out doing that. Then we went to my Mee Maw and Paw Paw's to show them the DVD of him. My aunt, uncle and brother also came. After we watched the DVD we all went out to eat at Red Lobster. On Saturday me and my mom went shopping for Canaan. We got him some stuff animals, blankets and lots of clothes!! I can't wait until we go to Jamaica!! I plan on getting a lot of sleep and sun!! When we get home we are going to pick out the bedding for the nursery and then start painting it. I am so excited!!

14 weeks

So not much has happened this week. Just a couple of new symptoms of pregnancy. Woke up Saturday morning at 2:30 with the worst heartburn ever!! I have never had heartburn until now!! Not so much fun. Kept waking up that whole night with it. We find out in 3 days if the baby is going to be Ava Morgan or Canaan Glen!! I can't wait. My parents are going to go to Baby Waves with us and then we are going to go by the baby some clothes b/c I have been dying to!! Here are my belly pics from week 4-14.
