WE ARE PREGNANT!!!!

I took two pregnancy test and they were positive!! We are very excited. We were kinda shocked because this was our first month trying. We told my parents and family the next day and told his that Saturday. They are very happy and excited. I think I was in shock for a few days b/c it just did not seem real yet. I was about 4 weeks going by my last period.

5 weeks
So on Christmas Eve the throwing up began!! Did not eat much over the holidays b/c of it. I had been feeling nauseous for a couple of weeks. My other symptoms are constantly being tired and my boobs being sore.

7 weeks
We went to the doctor on January 4, 2010. They made me pee in a cup and told me I was pregnant. The doctor was not there so we did not see her. Then I had to get blood work done. After the doctor me and Michael went to eat at Shoguns(one of my favs). Then we came home.

8 weeks
We went back to the doctor on January 14. She did an ultrasound, so we got to see the baby! It just made my heart melt to see and hear my baby's heart beating. It was the best feeling in the world!! She told us that the baby is due August 24!! I am going to have a long and hot summer. I told Michael on my off days I will be spending them at the pool or at the lake. After the doctor we went and ate at Pizza Hut and TCBY b/c I was craving it.

9 weeks
I finally got Zofran for my nausea. It has helped alot but sometimes it still comes back about on hour after I take the med. I am still tired alot. I continue to jog my 3 miles every night. I want to continue to jog until I can't but then I plan on walking until the baby comes(hopefully). Some nights I have to make myself do it but in the end I feel so much better after jogging. It helps me to relieve my stress from my long 12 hour shifts at the hospital!!

10 weeks
The Zofran is still helping with the nausea. But some foods just looking at and smelling make me feel sick like chicken, turkey and ham. The main things I eat are pizza, tacos, salad, fruit, grilled cheese, fish and pasta. Michael has to do all the cooking b/c smelling it cooking and looking at the raw meat makes me sick!!

11 weeks
Nothing much has happened this week. We moved in to our house in October and wanted to redo the whole thing. So far the den, hallway, kitchen and our bedroom are done. There is still so much to do!! This week we painted our bathroom and one out of three of our guest bedrooms. We still have one guest bedroom, baby's room, guest bathroom and dinning room to be painted. We need to put tile down in the bathrooms and kitchen and also new counter tops. The three guest bedrooms need new carpet. And then finally we will be done. We want it all done before the baby gets here. Then the fun starts b/c I am going shopping for new furniture!!
